
I've always been interested in realism in photos. Capturing the beautiful in situ without hiding anything. I think it gives photos context and prevents a glorified, instagram impression of places.
These photos were captured on my recent trip to Chamonix, France. None were staged. That white plastic chair really was positioned amongst the pine trees and really did look like a scene from a horror movie. All of the photos show some human interference with the environment.
I hope you enjoy this different perspective on one of the most iconically beautiful places in the world.
